Spirituality in Mental Health: What is Manifestation? (7)

Manifestation is a lot less complicated than it sounds. It's simply using the LOA in your favor and attracting what you want by matching the frequencies of your desires. Matching frequencies is also a simple concept that applies to a limitless extent, one that's all about mindset. What does it mean to change your mindset? To manifest, it's very important to strengthen the amplitude of your thoughts in a way that is in resonance in the energies you want to attract. This essentially means reprograming your mind to believe that you already have what you want, which applies to anything like money, a job, or how you want your future to look. As you do this, your vibrations will align with frequencies of your desires, therefore attracting them.

The most effective ways of strengthening your mind in growing the direction you want it to are affirmations and visualization. Affirmations are sayings of the present tense that confirm within your subconscious that you have what you want in abundance. For example, if you desire abundance and fulfillment in a specific aspect of your life, saying "I am so grateful that I have such a great abundance of X, and I am so grateful to feel so fulfilled" will raise your vibrations in truly believing that you have this abundance and fulfillment. Visualization is just visualizing your desires and focusing on that feeling of already having them, and harnessing this feeling as you go about your day. Both affirmations and visualization extend into limitless different ways, like vision boards and journaling, which are super helpful in quickening/strengthening your manifestations. We as humans have been conditioned to believe that certain things are impossible, but the most crucial part of manifestation is letting go of that doubt and believing that you can attract your desires. If you are attempting to manifest and have underlying feelings of doubt, you will only be attracting frequencies of that level. I struggled a lot with eliminating that sense of doubt especially and I sometimes still do, but I find that starting with something small and working up to even greater manifestations is super helpful.

Many celebrities have even come out about manifesting their accomplishments, such as Lady Gaga, who has recounted how she has used affirmations to manifest her songs becoming #1 hits. Jim Carrey has described the way he has manifested using visualization, as he wrote a $10,000,000 check to himself and kept it for five years, where he made $10,000,000 for the movie "Dumb and Dumber". Learning about manifestation has revitalized my inner strength in knowing it's me who has all of the power to create my own reality, which has helped empower me when tackling bad mental health days.
